This membership level is for anyone working in the field of professional grooming. This can include students studying recognised training, trainees, assistant groomers, stylists or grooming managers working in any salon situation including shop front, vet based, pet shop based, home based or mobile. General Members are bound to observe all the applicable elements of the Code for Professional Conduct and are subject to the Disciplinary and Dispute Resolution Procedures. This level of membership also includes access to our DGAWA member benefits. Membership renewal is due on 1 July annually regardless of initial signup date.

The price for membership is $95.00 now and then $65.00 per Year.

This following document sets forth the Terms and Conditions for the Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia Inc. website, https://www.dgawa.com.au. Members

1. By joining the Dog Groomers Association of Western Australia Inc. you agree to abide by our Constitution, Code For Professional Conduct and Workplace Health, Safety and Environment Guidelines. 2. In order to access some features on the website, you must become a member. You must complete registration by providing certain information as set out on our membership page.  Please also refer to our Privacy Policy linked on our home page for information relating to our collection, storage and use of the details you provide on registration. 3. You agree to ensure that your registration details, including your name and email address, are true and accurate at all times and you undertake to update your registration details from time to time when they change.  If we become aware that either your name and/or email address is incorrect, we reserve the right to immediately cancel your registration and acceptance for registration in the future will be at our discretion. 4. On registration, you will be requires to create a username and password, complete personal details and payment information. 5. We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time if you breach these terms and conditions. 6. You are responsible for all and any Content you contribute to the website. 7. We reserve the right but will not have an obligation to remove or refuse to distribute any Content that does not comply with these Terms. 8. By posting Content on this website, you provide us with an undertaking that such Content does not infringe the rights of someone else and that it does not violate the law in any other way such as by being defamatory, being of racist content or is threatening. 9. Membership Approval and Refunds Policy

29. Membership to DGAWA is subject to Board approval. Payment and access to the members only features on this site does not constitute approval. In the event that your membership is not approved, DGAWA reserve the right to remove your access to the website and refund your membership fee less administration costs. 30. All events, entries, fees, payments and applications, including those for memberships, competitions, workshops and seminars are not transferable. You must notify DGAWA by email not less than 2 weeks before the scheduled event if you wish to apply for a refund. DGAWA reserve the right to refund your payment less administration costs. Refunds requested inside of 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event, or after the event, will be at the discretion of the Board.
